Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) is one of the most popular ways to achieve the dream of home ownership sooner for borrowers that don't have a large deposit. LMI can either be paid upfront or capitalised into the loan. Helia have created an LMI premium estimator to give you an indication of the LMI premium payable.

While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this premium estimator, the actual premium is the premium calculated by Helia at the time of application for LMI. The actual premium may vary from the estimate depending on a range of factors including, but not limited to, the loan purpose, borrower type or security type, or updated information received at the time of the application of LMI. The results from this premium estimator should be used as an indication only.

Important Information

The information contained on this website is general information. It does not constitute legal, tax, credit or financial advice, and is not tailored to a borrower’s specific circumstances. Borrowers should consider their own personal circumstances and seek advice from their professional advisers before making any decisions that may impact their financial position.

Helia is not a ‘credit provider’, as that term is defined in the National Consumer Credit Protection 2009 (Cth) in respect to its provision of LMI. LMI is insurance that protects credit providers, not borrowers, and cannot be provided directly to borrowers. The information provided does not refer to a credit contract with any particular credit provider.
